Headaches after covid

Has anyone dealt with headaches, post covid? I’m not one prone to headaches, so this is unusual for me. I’m either waking with a headache or one is coming on during the day. Had COVID about 6 weeks ago. Strangely, I can wake at 3/4am for the toilet and have no headache, then wake at 6:30 with one. My nostril on the side with the headache will often be blocked, too, even though I don’t have a cold.

Checked blood pressure and that’s fine and then went for an optician appointment yesterday, which was also fine. I’m prone to health anxiety, so waking with a headache is obviously stressing me out!

Anyone had/know if similar and have any words of reassurance for me? It’s hard not to worry! Thanks 😊

Yes I did. I did have long covid though. But the headaches settled down after about 3 months I think it was. If the symptoms continue after 12 weeks the doctors start doing blood tests and looking at long covid so don't panic as it can take a while to get over covid.

Yes, they are part of my long covid symptoms that are being investigated. My doc isn't surprised if you know what I mean and indicated it was a thing. However I think mine are caused by high blood pressure that has randomly appeared after covid.
