This is second time now I had COVID. First time it was just like having a very bad cold. This time my throat hurts and think I do have temperatures a bit.

I had rang to speak to the midwife but was diverted to another lady. Whom said I should do another test.. Yesterday did it and it was negative. But she said call my midwife and let her know if positive. What do they do if you got COVID?

I work in retail and do I still isolate 5 days then go back. I know it depends on how I feel. But don't want to go go back unless this cough has gone. I cannot serve customers like that. I am annoyed because I felt unwell yesterday but went in as we short staffed and felt under pressure to go in.

I'm confused by your post, did you test positive?

As for work, what's their policy?

SpringRainbow · 26/07/2022 12:09

When it comes to work there is no actual laws, just guidance.

However, employers do not necessarily have to follow the guidance. You would need to check with your employer what their policy is.

Although, if your employer did want you to come in and want to stay home then you are well within your rights to take time off sick.

You will then just follow your companies sickness policy.

I did test positive.

Don't worry about it now feeling too rough at the moment.
As for work my health comes first, Pregnancy too.
