Tongue ulcers

I had covid about 3 weeks ago. The first symptom I got was a large number of ulcers all over my tongue (I have a gross picture of anyone wanted to see it). Otherwise had a pretty classic case, infectious for 5 days, cough and sore throat.

I'm fully recovered, energy levels back to normal and no residual cough. However I can't get rid of the tongue ulcers. They go down but more come up. I'm using bonjela, and some weird bicarbonate of soda concoction to get some relief.

Has anyone else had this? It's not that bad in the grand scheme of things (I can swallow, eat and sleep as normal). But how long will this last? Am I just run down without feeling like it? Is there anything else I can do to treat them?

I got those. It took weeks for them to heal with one side of my tongue improving then the other one flaring up. To be honest, my tongue hasn’t been the same since, my teeth seem to “rub” more and I am much more sensitive to it. I keep meaning to make a dentist appointment as my teeth feel “sharper” on my tongue somehow.

I've got covid at the moment and have painful ulcers worse than any I've had before, no suggestions as I've not tried anything for them yet but sympathy!
