Tested positive today after managing to avoid it so far. Dh also positive but our two primary age kids are well so far (I'm not going to test them unless they show symptoms).

I have a raging headache and pressure behind my eyes. Also coughing, croaky and very very tired. Cancelled all plans for the rest of the week but I'm still having to do the school run because dh is positive too and seems much more unwell with it. I'm finding the lack of guidance quite frustrating. Some people are still completely isolating if they test positive whereas others aren't even bothering to test even if they have symptoms. I'm trying to find a middle ground of getting on with the necessary things without putting anyone else at risk.

As it's my first experience with covid I just wondered how long you were poorly for and if you've had it since the restrictions were removed, did you isolate?

I’ve got it atm. Symptoms since Sat, I’d say a bad cold w a temperature on and off, but feel very wiped out with it.i had to test as I was supposed to be seeing friends/had a hosp appt.

Haven't been out the house since Sun pm (tested pos Mon am). I don’t feel well enough to go out anyway and I want to conserve energy and not overdo it. Friday would be the first day I’d be allowed out by current restrictions so I’ll stick to that.

I think if anything I will stick to a walk in remote areas and the school run which is non avoidable. I'll just keep my distance from people.
