when were her first signs of illness? People seem to be testing positive quite quickly after exposure according to this thread. It’s likely she picked it up after seeing you if she’s only just got a positive.

Probably not. That's almost a full week ago.

Husband and I were with a friend a few Saturday's ago (outside) he felt rough from the Tuesday but didn't test positive till the Thursday.
I have still dodged the bullet.

I found a fever last Monday. It was Wednesday when I was encouraged to test and it came up positive. The likely exposure was from my work from the previous week. I think Tuesday or Wednesday of last week was the possible exposure.

I was tired all day Saturday and by Sunday night I felt some chills. I think maybe there was covid brewing in me then.

Apparently one is most infectious 2 days prior to symptoms so that would be last weekend for me.

I was with my partner all weekend. He doesn't have any symptoms whatsoever. Not only that he is surrounded by covid. Everyone has it.

If you were going to get it, you most likely would have already.
