First time covid sufferer - day 5

started last Friday with a horrible sore throat, same on Saturday. Finally tested positive on Sunday morning with a faint line. Felt rough and panicky with slight cough, felt weak and rubbish! Started to come around yesterday but last night, started with chest pain which has carried through to today, along with upper back pain. Lungs are not happy! Has anyone else had this or should i be worried about secondary infection?

Had this back in Dec. Took 6 weeks to feel.ok. its normal. I was on oximeter to measure oxygen intake. Never been so ill. Call 111 for reassurance but be reassured. This Is normal sadly. If your fit and healthy you'll be fine. Then I had chest pains/ long covid for 6 months but I was unlucky.

The myalgia in the shoulder / chest was my first symptom and is still really bothersome now on day 5. Have googled a lot and don’t think it is lung related in the same way as a pain with a normal chest infection would be.

What’s getting worse for me is the dizziness and brain fogginess. I should be going away on a much needed hiking weekend this weekend, but starting to feel like I won’t be up to it 😢

@Signoramarella So sorry to hear you suffered so much. Symptoms are broad and everyone seems to suffer differently. I hope you are feeling better.
@partystress Fingers crossed you recover enough to go on your weekend away! An odd symptom ive had over last 2 days is intense pins and needles in arms neck and upper back. Its really annoying. Ive got the sinus congestion and pain now. Really hoping im nearing the end and can feel well enough to deal with my overwhelming anxiety!

I'm on day 3 and feel like I'm on my way back to day 1 with dizziness and headache. I have anxiety too and keep panicking that I'll never be better 😫
