Recurrent fever after covid

DS had covid last Sunday (26 June). He had a really really high temperature which then settled down in 48 hours. This evening he has a fever of 39 again! Acting completely normal, Eating and drinking fine if it wasn't for the fact he felt a little warm to touch I wouldn't have thought to check his temp at all!

Now all I've been reading is about PIMS and I'm terrified. Has anyone experienced a recurrent fever in a toddler?

Bumping again. Today it's been fluctuating quite a bit with no cal poly or anything and has been around 36.6-39.4 depending on the ear and the time taken! Seems much warmer after a sleep.

We've just given some nurofen but not sure if we should call the GP? Acting completely normal and wouldn't know unless you feel him!
