How long to avoid people now?

DS3 tested positive yesterday. DH this morning. I know legally there are no laws now but is it 3 or 5 days advised to avoid contact with others? I really don't want to test DS again as was traumatic the first time - when would you go back to playgroups etc?

3 days for children, 5 for adults.

The gov/ NHS advice is 3 days for children if they are otherwise ok. It also says don't test children unless on the advice of a medical professional, so I reckon they're hoping everyone will just go about in happy ignorance!

I don't really want to buy any, especially as it's not recommended they even take a test now. So according to the rules, we could be out and about by Tuesday I think.
