PCR for NHS app

I have COVID and am off on holiday in a few weeks. It has been over 270 days since my jab, so I need a booster. I can't get jabbed for 8 weeks after having COVID. The country I am going to only accepts the NHS app as proof of recovery.

I know free testing has ended, but is there any way to register a positive PCR result on the NHS app these days? I've been googling, but I can't find anything.

Feels like my only option is to get the booster while infected.

I'm getting the ferry, not flying. Not sure whether anyone will check vaccination status, but obviously it would be a huge pain if they did and we had to cancel the holiday because of it!

Plus is it not 4 weeks after infection that you can get a booster?

Oh, maybe it is. I think I'll just have to go for it a couple of weeks early.
