My 8mo I'm pretty certain has it I'm not getting him tested as it's obvious because me and partner both have/had in last couple days he's picked up today a lot more happier I dosed him up with calpol and nurofen given calpol then 2 hours after nurofen so helped keep him settled xx

Mine had it at 3.5m. He was the most poorly of all of us. Keep on top of calpol. Speak to your GP over the phone, they may offer advise too

Thank you!
is it normal for her nappies to be a bit mucusy with covid?

With such a young baby I would be speaking to your GP for advise for them with Covid or any illness

Hi my LO is 3.5mo and has caught covid from me. I rang 111 and was told by a gp that I must take my LO to a&e asap as she said he could have sepsis...however i said i have got covid so his fever that he had in morning is obvs covid. She said she is hanging up on me and told me to go a&e. Although I knew would be covid I still went to hosp and they done all the checks at first they done bloods and said that the results show infection in the blood! Of course at this point I'm ready to pass out with worry! Then they said when they took his bloods because he was crying (as all babies do) it may have altered the result so wanted to redo the bloods this time with a needle in his hand. Surprise surprise results all ok. They refused to do a covid test and just wanted to press on with sepsis. Anyways my LO is ok has had a fever for 24hrs which I managed with calpol and has gone off his formula I combi feed at the mo. He is breast feeding but minimal at a time. Nappies are wet and has slight diarrhoea. Each day he is getting better but seems to have a sore throat! Hope your LO gets well soon too I totes know how upsetting and worrying it is I'm a FTM too. Currently day 3 xx
