HD has what is termed as 'long covid', starting with difficulty in walking then turned into acute hepatitis. The docs said if she'd delayed a couple of days longer it would have been very serious indeed. It's dumb, but there you go. I almost lost her in January to covid+pneumonia, and now there are all these long term effects.
