Not Sure if this is Covid

After being very careful for 2 years I stopped wearing a mask and have started socialising more.

Since yesterday I feel like I have mild flu - had a headache, felt hot but my temperature is normal, I have little appetite. I took a covid test yesterday but it was negative. I might do another one to check today. Does this sound like covid?

I have a chronic cough which has been worse but it varies all the time.

Could be. Test again tomorrow. I didn't test positive until 2 days after my symptoms started.

Thanks, that's good advice. I have plans for tomorrow so I'm hoping I will feel better and have a negative test.

I'm just getting over something with the same symptoms. I tested negative. There are plenty of other illnesses doing the rounds.

feelingrougher · 02/06/2022 13:38

@eurochick - yes one of my colleagues has been off sick. I'm hoping it's just mild flu.

@feelingrougher how are you???

HydraWater · 07/06/2022 22:34

Hi, yes me too. Haven't had a virus for years, or Covid either. Sunday got the scratchy throat, Monday the stuffy nose and feeling unwell + awful phlegmy cough. This morning, omg a crushing exhaustion all of a sudden that had me crawling back to bed. Quite frightening really as if I was about to pass out. Negative Covid test earlier though.

I heard that Covid is having a bit of a resurgence recently, so I must have a viral infection. Feel a bit better now, still knackered though and will probably be coughing all night! I'll repeat Covid test tomorrow.
Hope you OK and feeling better.

Similar here. Runny nose, sneezing, diarrhoea two days ago, exhausted, slight temperature. Two negative lateral flow tests.

I'm much better now thank you. I'm a bit miffed that I didn't lose any weight after a few days of not eating much Grin I took two covid tests and both were negative.

@spaniahsummers and @HydraWater - hope you get better very soon!
