Am I the only one who finds it very hard getting up in the morning since Covid?

Got it in Feb, not particularly severely but enough to keep me off work for a week. I've noticed that I find is incredibly hard getting up in the morning these days and I can only wonder if it's related to Covid, anyone else??

Yes, the tiredness has been the worst part by far for me. I had it very mildly but I'm constantly exhausted and tearful now a month later.

MrsBungle · 01/06/2022 13:14

Same here! I also had it feb. I didn’t have it badly at all but I haven’t felt right since.

Yes - only had it two weeks ago but can barely open my eyes when my alarm goes off!

This is so strange!
I mean I've never liked getting up, but every morning these days feels probably 10x harder than it ever did before.
I saw something on the news earlier about 800,000 people expected to be living with long covid.. I wonder if this is part of it?

Same, fatigue hits me very hard & I also have shortness of breath when running.
Three jabs & hardly had any symptoms during actual covid.
It reminds me of pregnancy fatigue levels.

Gosh- today I have felt soooo tired- everything is such an effort.
Covid in March.

Yes absolutely! I have long Covid and either feel very drugged in the morning and struggle to get up or... I have raging insomnia and can't sleep (like last night). Utterly fed up with it all.

Same. Covid in Feb. Am trying a load of vitamins to see if that helps. Magnesium and vitamin D. Not sure if I should add anything else will see how that goes.

HundredMilesAnHour · 01/06/2022 16:46

I've had long Covid for 9 months now. I used to be up at 4.30am x 3 mornings each week, and 5.30-6am the other mornings (gym before starting work). Since Covid, it's a struggle to roll out of bed at 8am let alone earlier!

StuckCompletely · 01/06/2022 17:00

Same here. COVID in Feb, really struggled with brain fog and tiredness in the few weeks after having it but although it's improved I don't feel 100%. My brain doesn't feel as sharp as it did and I could quite easily nap every day after lunch!

Yes! Had it in January and hopefully (touch wood) ok now but it was sooo hard for ages.I just couldn’t explain to my OH who didn’t catch it how hard it was to get out of bed, much more than just feeling a bit tired.
hope you get over it soon !
