Hi, me, DS(10), DD(6) and DH had covid in Dec 2021. DH was negative on LFT by day 8. DS by day 11 and DD by day 12. Me testing positive even now on LFT. Faint lines continuously.
Anyone found any explanation for this? Or experienced same thing??

I have found information on sensitivity of PCRs and people testing positive for 3 months and longer. I have no found anything about LFTs.

Are they flowflex tests?
I remember posts about people always getting a faint positive with them for extended periods of time

I had multiple positive LFTs and multiple negative PCRs over the course of 7 months with FlowFlex until a friend told me about this issue. Changed to another brand and now always negative (apart from when I actually did have covid).

Have you been sticking things up your nose for 5 months? My doctor in the 80s told me to never stick anything up my nose as was very dangerous. After I was hospitalised for a sherbet pip in nostril!
