Hi,
so my kids are all getting covid now .3 out of the 4 have it. A month ago they gave me a cold and it turned into this nasty chest infection bronchitis. That made it hard for me with breathing and I’ve still be coughing up phlegm a month later. I’m on antibiotics and steroids.

im just worried now I’ll go if I catch it and it’s giving me anxiety because I hated feeling breathless and horrible.

please if you have any reassuring messages or support please give me some
advice. I hate having bad anxiety over thing.
i have been worried about the kids but they are being tough. They have head aches and body aches. One Has a slight cough. Days 1-3 for them.

I’ve been worried about getting covid as I’m older and overweight which can make it more complicated.

I actually got it a few weeks ago and didn’t even realise for a few days (luckily I hadn’t been out anyway so didn’t infect anyone). I had a really mild dose and was much better by day 4.

In many ways it was a relief just to get it over with. Even if I get it again later I’ll be much less worried now.

good luck and hope you’re doing ok.

I was absolutely terrified of covid. I got it before the vaccines were available and although not wonderful (think my anxiety made it was than it was).. it was very manageable and no long lasting effects.

You shouldn't be anxious when you are probably immune since you have had it.
