Had covid end of jan , no symptoms really and not picked up on lft only on a pcr
Then had again end of march , this time flue symptoms and lft picked up straight away
Now last night thought slight sore throat but late night and tired , this morning woke up and throat really sore again. Although as day goes on it is waring off a little
Can i even test again as only recovered about 4-5 weeks ago ? Whats chances of being covid again

I hope it’s not covid however does this mean that there is no immunity being built at all?

worriedatthistime · 14/05/2022 11:49

Well thats what worries me
I thought that the first time as Only had about 7 weeks between infections and assumed then maybe different strains
I think i have one lft test so will fo that later, although sore throat is easing off

Hear there are some other viruses going around do
hopefully it’s one if those.

I’ve got it for the third time since December. And had had my third vaccine about 3 weeks before catching it the first time. I’m not convinced the vaccines or previous infection are providing any immunity at all 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think it's possible but really unlikely that you have Covid again. Other viruses cause sore throats.
And to the previous poster - it's clear that the vaccines stop you getting Covid badly, but don't stop you getting it.

Well i did a lft and negative and my sore throat lasted one day and went so guessing not covid
I hadn't slept well and my throat if stressed or tired is always the first thing that hurts
As day went on the sore throat eased and woke up next day not a single thing

Hi
I had covid 8n January 2022 for 3 months I suffered badly for 3 months never had fever or cough infact none of the stated symptoms on the NHS website.
I suffered with feeling sick fatigue indigestion and a rash that looked like hives.
