Stomach issues post covid DH

DH used to be the type to never have a day off sick or ever really suffer from illness but since he had covid, he seems to get ill roughly every 8-12 weeks, to the point where he has to spend a few days in bed. This weekend he thought he had hayfever and lo and behold by Monday he was in bed with a terrible stomach, which is the pattern it seems to follow. We both had a 360 screening done recently with full blood tests and stool samples etc and nothing showed up so I don't think there's any underlying issues, just perhaps that his immune system hasn't recovered and he now picks up viruses super easily? It also seems to affect his stomach every time, that seems to be the weak point and it does seem like covid does that- someone else I know gets recurrent throat infections now. So I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and has any advice, is there anything he should or could be doing or taking? It's quite disruptive and I know it gets him down so any advice is appreciated TIA

How does he feel generally outside these episodes? It might be worth chatting to the GP.

Yes fine otherwise. He runs and plays football and is generally fit and well and full of life

I had covid in March 2022 and still not right in terms of my tummy. Symptoms have come and gone for a while but last week lost appetite again due to heartburn and doctor has prescribed omezaprole which is helping me eat again. Just wondering if anyone had similar symptoms post covid? I’m nearly 9 weeks post covid but tummy is just not right yet. Thanks
