Breast pain after covid

I had a pos pcr test 29th March and was very unwell for about 3 weeks with symptoms including a terrible cough for the whole time. I’m still coughing a bit but it’s mostly gone, still tired and a bit foggy

my left breast got very sore about this time last week - a full pain both emanating from behind the nipple but also underneath and behind at the rib at the bottom of my tube cage. I’ve been taking 2x paracetamol and 2 ibuprofen every 2 hours for the past 3 weeks to manage covid symptoms but also this.

it’s likely a pulled muscle or something but my imagination is running wild…! has anyone else had this after covid or another bad cough? No phlegm or anything like that, it’s my left breast only, pain doesn’t travel through to my back

I haven't experienced breast pain as a result of covid, but I came here to say it's not safe to be taking 2x paracetamol and 2 ibuprofen every 2 hours for 3 weeks.

It sounds like you need to get to the GP ASAP to talk about the pain, possible causes and how to manage it safely. I'm sure they can prescribe something longer lasting than ibuprofen so you're not taking it so frequently. I see why you think it might be a pulled muscle but it sounds like you might need a chest x-ray to be on the safe side to check for any complications in the lung from covid? I'm not a doctor, but that seems like common sense to me.

Look up costochondritis. It's a common occurrence after Covid

after bloods and a chest X-ray doc concluded an intercostal strain 🤦‍♀️ I thought I was having a heart attack!!
