Hi all - day 3 of this horrible illness! Paracetamol sort of helping but cannot shake the headache. Is taking ibuprofen an option? Really can't cope with headache anymore 😥

Yes it's fine, I found it worked much better than paracetamol.

The don't take ibuprofen thing was from very early in 2020, I can't remember why now but it's fine.

Ibuprofen can constrict your chest which is why it wasn't recommended early on i think.

Remember to protect your stomach lining when taking Ibuprofen- always eat a snack or take it after food

of course, unless there's any reason you cannot take ibuprofen yourself. There was some kind of rumour going around that ibuprofen should be avoided with covid way back in 2020 but I think it's been de bunked.

I had terrible sinus pain with covid that paracetamol was not helping so I was alternating the 2 to take the edge off the pain!

jusy make you take it with milk or food for your stomach as May cause an upset stomach if taken on an empty stomach!

Thanks all symptoms have now reduced so only needed the ibuprofen for a day. I have a new weird one though...I cannot seem to yawn anymore???? Just me? 😳
