How long did you test positive for?

And before anyone jumps on my….I know we no longer have to test and I know advice is to stay away from vulnerable people until 10 days, but I have family members that refuse to mix with me until I test negative and DD’s father likely to refuse to have her if she’s positive. Also need to be negative for work (care worker).

Dd2 is on day 10 and still testing positive, still coughing in the mornings. I’m on day 7 and still getting strong positive and still have a stuffy nose.

We have been keeping dd1 out of the way as we are due to go away next week and if she came down with it she would have possibly been too unwell to go away. Dd1 is a teen and happy to be living in her room but I didn’t expect it to last this long.

What day did you test negative?

DS day 8, DH day 5 (or possibly 6, he had symptoms the day before). I was still positive on day 15 ( was testing as had been planning to visit someone in hospital) but went out from day 11.

13 days. But after Day 19 you're good to go anyway

Day 7 for me, day 8 for dc1 and day 9 for dc2 but all felt completely well around day 7. Day 10 is the recommended last day of isolation. Hope you all feel better soon!
