I know by now most people will have had all there vaccinations however I choose not to receive the injections whilst pregnant.

I now have had Pfizer 1 & 2 and now I am eligible for my booster and once again I find myself feeling highly anxious and scared of the side effects.

For those that have had all 3 Pfizer vaccines how did you react to your booster?
Did it affect breastmilk supply?
I am EBF and have a very clingy baby so I really really don’t want to feel under the weather.

You might get moderna rather than pfizer as a booster. Dd had 2 pfizer and then a moderna booster. Dh and I had 2 AZ and then a pfizer booster

Only side effects seemed to be a sore arm

I have had 3 doses of Pfizer. The third one was by far the easiest of all 3. I had a headache that was gone by the evening (vaccine at 2pm). Not even a sore arm, or anything else. After the first two ones I felt quite rough (sore arm, chills, random shakes and >24h headaches) so I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy the third dose was. Everybody I know who got the booster has had a similar experience.

I’m not breastfeeding so can’t comment on that, but just wanted to wish you all the best and I’m sure you’ll be just fine OP.

I’ve had 4 doses of Pfizer and not had any side effects from any of them besides a very mildly sore arm for a couple of hours post injection. I’m late 40s so can’t comment on the breastfeeding side of things, sorry!

I had four vaccines last year. The one which caused most side effects was the flu jab. I felt pretty ropey for a couple of days after that. My Pfizer booster resulted is a slightly sore arm & feeling marginally under the weather for 24 hours.

I had bad side effects with Astra Zeneca as in, I felt like I had covid again. Had Pfizer as my booster right before Christmas. Not many side effects, just a little tired and achy, arm hurt a bit too.

However. I had my period at the time and I did not have another one until this week. HCPs say it’s a coincidence and my age (I’m 44) but I had very few peri menopausal symptoms before, I was even having hot flushes in January and February. Feel more normal now.

Make of that what you will I guess 🤷‍♀️

@dementedpixie I have phoned where I will be having my vaccine and asked for the Pfizer booster because I am breastfeeding and know my daughter was fine with 1 & 2 turns out they only offer Pfizer anyway and have no Moderna vaccines at all.

Thank you to everyone else I reacted to my first with a bad headache for 48 hours or more it was very painful with my second I felt a bit spaced out and weak legged just not myself at all so hoping the booster will be even milder or no symptoms.

Thanks again I feel slightly reassured and I appreciate all those who have been kind enough to take the time to reply to my thread.

Pretty much identical here apart from I also had covid mildly about 3 weeks after my booster so I'm not sure if it was the vaccine or the virus or a combination that has had this effect.
