I won't beat about the bush. Feeling a lot better than I was (on day 8 now), but this symptom is new. Related? Unrelated? Anyone else have a similar 'end of virus' experience? It's almost as of my tummy has 'woken up' after having the virus

Yes I experienced similar but a bit earlier that you, about half way through. Felt dreadful and dizzy with it, couldn't keep anything down! It's truly awful, do hope you feel better soon!

Yes, unfortunately. About one week into it and lasted about 4-5 days. Not fun!

Hmm. Now OH who always has and still is testing negative has fever and diarrhea. Me thinks perhaps we have a second virus as toddler is ill with it as well (tested negative on Sunday)

I did the first time I had covid. But I was so incredibly ill and didn’t poo for the first 8 days so on day 9 it all came out at once. But it did mark the turning point of getting better.
I’m now on day 5, second time around, and again I haven’t been since last week so I’m expecting the explosives to come along soon

God - it is so awful. Diarrhea has stopped for now but I've no appetite at all - haven't had for days- and now I'm back to extreme fatigue and aches, and my mood is terrible.

Had this. No one else in house did. It's rubbish.

@Sillymummies123 my DH lost 6lbs due to the bug he had, couldn't eat anything, not even dry toast. Hope you get your appetite back soon

Sillymummies123 · 16/04/2022 12:36

Well, I'm on day 10 and this is still well in its stride. Definitely a second bug. I guess I'm an authority now on COVID / Gastroenteritis confection- it sucks.

I had this plus abnormal liver function. I'm on week 5 and no longer testing positive but I'm getting gastric probs and also intermittent fever and headache. I have other health problems but the liver issues are new
