DD , myself and DP all positive maybe a month ago. Two weeks out of nursery etc, maybe 3 days of being well then DD starts being snotty again and has a horrible cough. I've just tested and got a faint positive, starting to feel really unwell again. Has anyone else had it virtually back to back? So fucking sick of this Sad

Yes, I know two people who have had covid 3 times in less than five months.

I'm sorry you're ill again and hope you feel better, and stay that way very soon. Flowers

Did you ever test negative after your previous infection OP? Some people continue to test positive on LFT for some time, so it could just be that you have a standard cold-type virus now.

I know people are catching Covid again within weeks/months, but you've been out of isolation for only a couple of weeks? It seems unlikely, but I guess not impossible!

To be honest I gave up testing, was down to a very faint positive on day 8 then thought sod it I'll just keep DD off one more week and we must be fine after that. This is a very faint positive but I do feel really unwell exactly like before. I'll test DD and that should be the decider I guess! Argh!

I know someone who had two weeks between infections Sad

Maybe the infection lingered on and your body hasn't yet fully 'eliminated' it?

I tested positive for three weeks after my initial positive, and had symptoms too (in fact I still get them over a month later). DH was still testing positive seven weeks after our bout of covid last summer!

I'd test again and see if the line's darker after a day or two. If not, I'd probably regard it as the same infection.

That said I had covid in late January and again early March so it's definitely possible!
