About 4 weeks ago, I was casually informed of being a close contact. A day after that I came down with a tender throat with progressed over the course of the next few days. The throat became worse, I found a low grade fever, headache, earache. All in all the symptoms were mild and it seemed to clear quickly.
I tested at home every day for a week but I kept getting negatives. I presume what I had was the same dose as my close contact who had covid. My activities outside of home and work were limited due to a busy schedule so flu was low risk. I wasn't around anyone else not well with colds.
4 weeks on
I was left lingering sinusitis or hay fever feeling where I had a build up of phelym at the back of my throat and nose. That was making me cough st night for about 2 weeks after my dose. The night time cough is gone now thank goodness. The phelym feeling was still there but it seemed like it was improving. Until today. I am back again with a heavy phelym feeling at the back of my throat. It's an awful feeling. I'm drinking a lot of water and I am trying to clear it but I can't. It's just the phelym feeling I have. I had another close contact last week and the week before that too. Would this be the start of another dose or what?
I'm not testing any more.
Anyone else experience lingering phelym?
