Positive Saturday, negative Sunday and Monday

I have covid and have tested positive with a heavy line since Friday. DH has tested negative every test and is keeping way from us as is on meds that compromise his immune system.

DS was negative on Friday, was positive on Saturday, but tested negative on Sunday and again today. He is also not showing any symptoms. His school doesn't break up until Wednesday and he wants to go back to school tomorrow.

he is symptom free and has had two consecutive negative tests - could his first one have somehow been contaminated by me being positive?

Would it be unreasonable to let hom go back to school?

What made you test him again the day after a positive ?

Also new guidelines in kids is something like 3 days so maybe speak to school see what they say and look up the new guidelines

Is it possible it was the tail end of it for your ds and you caught it from him?

But I’d send back to school, perhaps do
Another first thing tomorrow to be sure

we're testing DH every day as he will be given antivirals as soon as he tests positive - DS just did one as they were there.
