You can if you want, but lots of other illnesses make you ill too.

dfendyr · 09/04/2022 09:57

Yeah, I've cancelled my plans anyway because whatever it is I don't want to spread it

Good. Get well soon.

Good news OP. I wonder if people immune systems are a bit depressed after having covid so are more susceptible to other stuff?

Dd had it twice in a month so possible. You could just have another virus now though as seems to be a few going around, Dd had a nasty throat thing last week but it was not covid!

A lot of people I know have had some kind of rebound minor illness in the weeks after Covid, of all types, respiritory, digestive, UTIs. Any kind of illness can make you run down for a bit anyway, but the volumes having this particular illness, the attention it gets, and our immune systems playing catch-up to this, that and everything are making the pattern fairly clear.

Some people experience symptoms returning after recovering and it’s an immune response from the initial infection. So still covid but not testing positive as it’s been too long since first infected.

I got some water and 2 paracetamol ready last night for this morning

Glad I did, this is the worst day yet, hoping its the day before I start improving
