Flowflex tests, no QR code or ID number?

Just got a box of tests from the chemist and they don’t seem to have qr codes or ID numbers on the tests? Am I being thick? How do I register a test result? Dd is positive I don’t usually register negatives.

Did you pay for the test? When I logged my result the other day I thought I saw a note that you shouldn't if it wasn't free, so maybe they've removed the codes in anticipation? That said - I think others who still receive them for free are still logging so might be a bit odd/complicated to have two different types out there!

OnceAgainWithFeeling · 08/04/2022 08:13

You don’t, because there is no legal requirement to register test results or do anything different anymore.

clarkkentsglasses · 08/04/2022 08:23

You don't register them anymore.

The LFT contract only lasted 2 years. Hence now you have to pay and there is "no team" registering them.

Lovemusic33 · 08/04/2022 08:34

Yes, I bought them from the chemist.

Seems crazy, obviously this is why covid numbers are dropping…because not only do you have to pay for tests you no longer log the results?

And I’m not one of those that religiously tests, my dd has health issues and SEN’s so I wanted to know if she had it, she’s unwell. Thought I would do the right thing and log the results but now that’s been scrapped 🙄.

Pretty sure the case numbers are already meaningless but given I'm still suffering having had it 4 weeks ago ( fortunately detected on a free test) being able to log it so it's on my medical record seems a good thing.

Lovemusic33 · 08/04/2022 18:53

I guess the only number recording now will be deaths, though even some of those may not be picked up on.

And frontline NHS/care workers.

Exactly reading i papers its dropping but thats because no one can register their tests if they bought them and man don't have any tests so are just guessing
Seems like I may have it again after only having it end of jan and being triple jabbed , shoeing negative on lft at moment but dh has covid so would be huge coincidence if I don't have it with identical symptons
I also never tested positive on LFT last time just on PCR but no option to have a PCR now

Same, I’m pretty sure I had it last week, I had the cough, achy and loss of taste but LFT negative, now dd is positive so I’m wondering if I did have it? Last time I had it I had negative LFT but positive PCR.

You can still log it on the Zoe Symptom Study app. That way the statistics that uses will reflect a positive case in your postcode area.
