Yes! I had an incredibly dry throat (my mouth was quite dry too) and despite having negative LFTs, my PCR was positive

Yes. Tested positive Monday, my first symptom was a very dry, sore feeling throat. Also my tongue felt like I'd burnt it on hot food for a few days (I hadn't) bizarre.

Wasn't my first, but after about 4/5 days I noticed my mouth was so dry I googled if there was a connection! I thought it might just be a consequence of being generally quite bunged up.
