Shaky and weak feeling

Hi I'm triple vaccinated and recently caught covid. The first week I had a terrible head cold and a tough cough for a couple of days. No temp at any point I had more tummy issues. I tested negative on day ten but was still feeling full of cold.
The last three days I've been feeling awful again mostly shaky and weak and feeling like I may pass out today is 17 days after testing positive
Could this still be the effects of covid? I'm feeling worried as it's quite scary no issues with breathing though.
Anyone else struggled with this

Yep - felt really rough for a good 2 weeks. The shakiness probably ended around then. I was still experiencing crushing exhaustion, cough, periods of breathlessness, and periods of wheeziness for several weeks. Almost back to normal at 6 weeks.

That's got me worrying now. I've had shakes, bad stomach, sensitive skin and a sore throat for the past 2 days. Hoping it's just a bug though

emmathedilemma · 06/04/2022 13:08

I've felt like that all morning, i couldn't decide i needed food or if it was a viral related thing. It's 2 weeks since i first tested positive and I feel worse now than I did then! i feel like i could sleep for a week.

I came out of isolation last week and I'm still feeling rough although today is a better day, my breathing is OK but I have been feeling dizzy and exhausted I think it can take a while to fully recover.

Rupertpenrysmistress · 06/04/2022 13:18

I was just thinking about posting too. I feel worse today, thought I was improving yesterday. Day 8 today and still strongly positive. No appetite, shaky and sore throat. Although triple vaccinated, my booster was 6 months ago now.
I read lots of posts where it is just described as a cold, makes me feel like a wimp 😁.

Mrsjayy · 06/04/2022 13:22

I felt rotten and definitely not just a cold!

Iggly · 06/04/2022 14:14

Yes. I think it’s my heart rate. It’s not right, my heart rate keeps shooting up with mild exertion and makes me feel sick etc.

So I have to keep drinking loads and resting. I’m on about day 16 now so not that long ago since testing negative but the virus is probably still kicking about.

SummerySumner · 07/04/2022 09:54

Day 9, still testing strongly positive. Still very dizzy and legs feel shaky and weak. Scared to do anything other than sit around to be honest. No way I could walk to the shops.

I'm on day 39, still feeling awful, on 2nd batch of antibiotics with hope they might improve the chest problems. Some days are better than others and today I just want to be in bed. I think the ABs are contributing to me feeling nauseous.

My sore ears, eyes and throat have improved and I can breathe through my nose for the last couple of days.

I'm worried about how depressed I'm feeling but I guess I'm entitled given the physical problems.

Good luck, I hope you feel better soon.

JustSmallFry · 07/04/2022 10:00

I'm on day 8 and feeling nauseous and dizzy. Still coughing a fair bit. I caught it off DH who is absolutely fine. Not in the UK so officially allowed out today. Had been planning on going for a walk but actually don't feel up to it.

thefootballcoacheswife · 07/04/2022 10:05

I've got all that still-day 10 after testing positive. Tested negative last night, back to work today-still feel awful-if anything worse than I felt when still testing positive. This bloody thing-so fed up with it

Liamgallaghersparka · 07/04/2022 13:02

Day 10 for me, testing negative now but very wobbly and unsteady on my feet, still coughing and absolutely exhausted. I had to have a lie down after making the bed. Also keep going slightly deaf in my right ear Hmm

Day 40 and I'm crying. I am now worse than I was in week 1. It has been up and down all the way through but today is a new low. I was delirious in the night, a character from an American comedy show was holding me hostage, I was terrified. I'm too embarrassed to even say who it was as it is so ridiculous.

ancientgran · 08/04/2022 15:31

I'm hoping it is the antibiotics that are making me feel so bad. The doctor did warn me they were strong and I would likely struggle to take them, he said it would be OK to halve the dose but to take them all. I am trying to go with the full dose as I am desperate to feel better.

That sounds awful. I hope you feel better soon Flowers

Thank you. I now have a referral to the heart and lung department at local hospital. Unfortunately this is 3 weeks away but at least it is something I can focus on.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 11/04/2022 20:25

I'm day 27 since testing positive. Tested negative after day 11. Thought I was feeling better last week. Almost back to normal.

Now I'm in bed with flu like symptoms and feel dreadful again. I'm 17 weeks pregnant so feeling very anxious.
