Day 10 and getting worse?

What a weird illness! I think I’ve had every symptom possible so far, but mainly heavy cold like symptoms which I’ve still got 10 days from first symptoms. The last three days I have had really horrible brain fog and anxiety, and this is the most ill I’ve felt so far. I’m WFH, can barely concentrate but I can’t afford to go off sick. I know this might be a ‘how long is a piece of string’ type question but how long can I expect to feel like this? I don’t think I’m coping all that well - I just don’t know what to do with myself Sad

I had a similar experience and ended up briefly in hospital on day 13. I was told by the nurse on the covid ward that day 10 is often a turning point—people either get better or get worse. I started to feel better around day 15/16. Hope it goes for you soon.

Thank you @historyrocks. I shall see how I’m feeling tomorrow, hopefully I’ll start to feel some improvement.

In the same boat day 9 ( maybe 10) wfh as had days off last week and can't afford anymore and also have colleagues with it who aren't as bad so I look like an old wimp. I am triple jabbed and not over weight just older than them by a decade or so. Feel worse exhausted, little voice - not really wanting to eat , meant to be at mil next week and can't bare cancelling and having dc miss more nice things due to covid 😞 as I am working dp is not being particularly as sympathetic as when I was bed bound over the weekend. Lots of green grunge coming out so I am delightful
