Would you fly long haul on day 6 if LFT still positive for family wedding

Asking for a friend (seriously Grin). Zero symptoms (and never had any) but still showing a positive on LFTs on day 6. Due to fly 12 hours for a close family wedding (day 7). WWYD?

No as you would still be able to pass it on, also some countries do random testing on arrival so risk of getting forced into quarantine if that happened.

I wouldn't.

I'm currently on day 5 since my first positive test and am isolating (also 37 weeks pregnant). My test yesterday had started to fade, but today's was much darker and I've felt worse today than I did yesterday!
I will continue to isolate until day 10 or I have 2 negative LFT results, whichever comes first.

DD age 2 and DH are also in the same boat (dd is now on day 9 and DH on day 6)

Does the country require a negative covid test for entry? If not why on earth would someone with no symptoms test just before such a big event? Ignorance is bliss!

Once you know you've got it, you can't really go.

If I were the person doing the long-haul flying, I'd be faking a positive Covid test in order to get out of a) the flight; and b) the wedding.

If I were the kind of person who liked flying or weddings, though, a positive test after 6 days wouldn't put me off.

Okay I've now heard the test last night and today were negative so 🤞🏼 few more days until the wedding but the flight is important too. Person will be in business class anyway but not relevant especially as testing negative. Also found out they're a day ahead of what i thought so flight on day 8.

Good that so many people wouldn't fly if positive, that gives me hope!

all guests are required to do LFTs on request of the bride & groom before the wedding anyway for those who mentioned such gatherings being superspreader hotspots.
