Dd almost 10months has covid.. very high temp. Awful barking cough. Myself & Dh also have it. Is there anything we should be soing? We're giving her calpol every 4 hrs. I don't see the point in contacting doctors yet as I doubt they can do anything for her at the min. Any exp/advice? Thanks. Such a sick worried mummy.

How high is 'very high temp'?

This NHS page says when to seek help - is there any improvement with Calpol? If not seek help. Any dehydration? If yes seek help. Other advice is listed too: www.nhs.uk/conditions/fever-in-children/

Note that page says contact the GP if your baby is not their usual self. Do not talk yourself out of getting help if you feel at all worried.

Sorry to hear this, hope it improves quickly.

Im getting as much juice/bottles into her as i can. Her nappies are still wet. Just took her temp & its 39. Shes due more calpol but don't want to wake her up whilst shes in a deep sleep. It comes down slightly with calpol. Thankyou for your comment🙂
