Hi my family and I are travelling to the US on the 15th April but I tested positive for Covid on March 30th (LFT result logged with nhs) and my partner tested positive today (LFT also logged with nhs), our two year old is still negative.
My worry with testing positive so close to our trip is what to do if we are those unlucky people that keep testing positive for weeks / months etc. As there are no longer pcrs in the uk we only have our lateral flow results.
I was thinking to cover ourselves we could try and order and pay for a proof of recovery letter after our 11 days have passed via a private fit for fly company.
I’ve had a look online and it’s so hard to decipher which companies are bonafide and worth the cost.
Would anyone be able to recommend an online company that provides these types of letters?
I was delighted when I found Medispot as what they offered sounded perfect then immediately put off after reading harrowing reviews.
Any recommendations or advice would be really appreciated!
Thanks,
Kathryn
