About 20 days ago, I found out that a person I was close to a few days beforehand found a faint positive on a home antigen test after having symptoms of a cold for a few days.
The day after discovering that I was a close contact, I started to experience a dry and tender throat. It was honestly nothing. As the week went on I developed more cold symptoms. I did many tests at home over the course of the week and I tested negative.
I think I had the same dose as my close contact girl but I never found a positive line on a test.
All lot of my symptoms have cleared up. I still have a lot of phelym and pressure behind the ears and it feels like sinusitis to me. This wouldn't be unusual for me. I used to suffer for a long time with sinusitis after a cold. I was able to manage it and avoid sinusitis for years by tackling colds head.
So a few weeks ago when I experienced the start of a cold, I started to tackle it head on but unfortunately it wasn't enough and I think I have sinusitis now. Nearly three weeks since the onset of symptoms. No loss of taste or smell. I am also taking an antihistamine.
Should I go to the doctor tomorrow or Monday. I received news of becoming a close contact yet again. I can't even be certain if I got covid a few weeks ago. Here I am with what I think is sinusitis and now I am a close contact again. So I am anxious of a covid dose on top of sinusitis.
What do I do? Do I got to the doctor tomorrow for antibiotics perhaps? Incase I develop more symptoms later in the week.
