Struggling to sleep?

I started having symptoms Tuesday and from Tuesday night my sleep has gone to crap! Insomnia, frequent waking, my iwatch tells me I’m in light sleep all night long with barely any deep / restful sleep. Last night I was awake in the early hours for ages.

I do have fatigue and if I do too much I am dizzy so I am resting basically all day long (but not napping).

Is anyone else struggling to sleep or am I the only weirdo?! My friends told me they were sleeping like logs 18 hours a day!

I had the same. And my Mum and brother. Maybe genetic. But there was a thread a while ago where lots had insomnia as a symptom. Felt fatigued but couldn’t sleep! Wired at night. DH took himself off to bed at 8pm with Covid but I just couldn’t sleep.

Yep, I'm on Day 7 and have been sleeping so badly.
Nothing in particular keeping me awake but just this horrible uncomfortable, restless feeling, almost like I'm buzzing/fizzing inside. I feel panicky but I'm not panicking/anxious.

Yes! This happened to both me and DH at the beginning - first few days. And then then the utter exhaustion kicked in after maybe day 5-6? and I slept afternoons/all night/ unable to move.

ShakeYourBo0ty · 01/04/2022 14:16

Oh no @Popplebop don’t tell me that! I’m not up for bone crushing exhaustion. I’d just like to sleep normally and be bouncing around back to normal on day 5 Tyvm Grin

Yes I found it very difficult to sleep. Currently still testing positive. The first 2 nights I was in that too poorly to sleep state then followed by several nights lying awake till 3am tossing and turning then having a short good sleep but waking early. Napping in the day has always been a no no for me as it effects my night's sleep so I've tried not to nap. Now I'm sleeping ok but my sleep body clock is set at around 2am - 9.30 am which isn't ideal. I'm also having the most vivid realistic dreams too.

Yes other half had that with anxious feeling and restlessness.... Gave him arsenicum and eup homeo remedy which helped loads after 5 days of him moaning about it!!

Yes found it very difficult to sleep the first 4 nights despite being utterly exhausted. Slept better last night and the night before. Hope you feel better soon x
