Long story short I am CEV and shielded for a long while. Last spring/summer just as I was beginning to mingle again I had a major accident/injury. I've been housebound since then but am slowly making steps to finally have a life outside of my house for the first time in two years 🥳

However I'm trying to get an unbiased view on what the current guidelines are. Everything I read seems to contradict itself and I'm fairly confused as to where things stand at the moment with covid. Could someone please give me a clear run down of what life is like in Scotland at this point in the pandemic? Are people still wearing masks? Etc things like that. Thank you! So excited to get outside again.

Where I am everyone has decided it’s a cold and mask wearing etc. varies depending on community involved, less so in urban and less affluent areas.

Updated guidance for CEV here, read through it, there is a link towards the bottom for those who have problems with their immune system - if you’re in this category you may need to go on antiretrovirals.
