Chest pains since March 2020

Anyone else? Not sure it really counts as long covid as that's the only problem and it's intermittent. Today it's worse. Google says not to worry but any suggestions to ease it?

Have you sought advice from an actual medical practitioner?

Ithinktomyself · 30/03/2022 21:02

No. I'm interested to know if anyone else has experienced this.

I’ve had intermittent chest pains since having Covid in January 2021 and still get them. Doctors can’t explain it other than saying it is likely to be Long Covid. I would advise however speaking to your GP.

Please don’t rely on Google for reassurance about chest pain. Consult your GP and get it investigated. It could be anything from reflux to a heart condition that needs managing.

Do you independently monitor your heart rate and blood pressure? It may be worth investing in some home kit so you have readings to present to the doctor.

I would definitely run it past your GP. It could be lots of harmless things, but you want to rule out angina or anything problematic.

I've had chest pain and breathlessness since having covid in October.
My GP has referred me to a cardiologist and has given me a spray for under my tongue(it doesn't help).
I'm waiting to go for a lung function test.
