Anyone else positive with bad gastro?

I am on day 4 of Covid. After some initial "classic" symptoms - headache, scratchy throat - I have been having the most horrible gastric flu. Bad cramps, vomiting, full blown IBS.

Is this Covid-related? It must be, right?

I had it pre positive test, spent 8 hours living in the bathroom one Fri night and Sunday got my positive. I have read others on here with bad tummies as well.

Hope you feel better soon

Yes, it's apparently a common symptom of BA.2. I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago, it was my first symptom and lasted for several days.

Yes, same for DH and I. Fairly mild symptoms to start with then a few days later we both had terrible stomach cramps and diarrhoea.

I vomited a lot with Covid

I had diarrhoea, nausea and stomach cramps 48 hours before getting other symptoms. Then the more “usual” ones appeared (cough, fever etc) before the stomach symptoms reappeared a week later.
