Something feels off

Tested positive last Wednesday morning, routine work testing, no symptoms and very faint positive. Triple vaccinated.

Felt a bit off for a few days then on Saturday morning I thought I was ok. Did a little bit of gardening and came over very shaky and tired so took it easy the rest of the weekend. Still testing very strongly positive today (day 6) and something has felt wrong for the last couple of hours.

I feel a bit like something heavy is on my chest but no breathlessness, I’m not panting and can talk normally. But I feel light headed like I’ve been blowing up balloons. I am asthmatic (mild, mostly in childhood and when I’ve had a chest infection) so I’ve taken my inhalers and they’ve not done much. Not really sure where to go from here. DH is going to pick up a pulse oximeter in a bit.

Just wondered if anyone else felt like this?

For once this isn’t one of those thread where someone says

I have a painful big toe, could it be related to fact i have covid.

Your symptoms op are classic covid.

Rest up, don’t exert yourself and try lying on your front when you sleep

That’s reassuring to know I guess.

I’ve had my fair share of bronchitis and other respiratory infections and have never had this weird feeling before. Covid is an odd one.
