Registering PCR

Hi all
Really quick one if I can please (I have searched the site and been googling all morning)
How do I register a positive PCR or do I not need to any more?
I can only find out how to register a positive lat flow and it was more than 24 hours ago so can't even do that.
The reason for asking is we are going on holiday hopefully in next few months and my 12 year old isn't vaccinated and has covid currently
I need to get him a covid recovery certificate which I assume will come up in my NHS covid app (he is linked to me)
Does this just happen automatically or do you have to register the positive result?
I have registered previous positive results (not for him though) but can't remember how I did it
Thanks

You don't register PCR results, if it comes back positive it will show up on your record.

You only register LFT because you do then yourself

You don’t need to anymore, it’s already registered.

Pcr results don’t show at vax site so take your child for vax instead

Thank you for your comments. I didn't know it would be there automatically.
I know that his results won't show at the vaccination clinic but I would rather follow the guidance and wait the 12 weeks until he has it
