covid tests for France at Easter??

Does anyone know if a double vaccinated 17 year old counts as fully vaccinated for France or does he need to test before departure?

Appears 12 year old needs to test before we go as has only had one vaccine. Any recommendations for a reliable testing company.

Any tips for travel to France and what restrictions are actually in place ie can you eat or drink on trains or do you have to keep masks on at all times as stated on their websites?

Thanks

This is the best site for the latest rules.
uk.ambafrance.org/COVID-19-rules-for-travel-between-France-and-the-UK-28918
As far as I can see no tests needed for under 18s, over 18s need to have had 2 jabs plus booster.

Ignore that! They do need to test, I've just read it again.

Was in Paris last week. Masks are mandatory on public transport, unless you can show a letter from your doctor explaining why you should be exempt. Nearly everyone we saw on the Metro and on the buses had a mask on. We didn't see any inspector type people checking though.

Masks didn't seem mandatory inside buildings though, so not in shops, museums, galleries, restaurants etc. We set our Covid passes up through the Anti Covid app, but were never asked for them and we didn't see anyone be asked.

I have booked antigen tests through this site for my 12 year old after seeing a recommendation on here.

Covid passes are no longer being used except for hospitals, care homes etc.

And public transport, I should have added.

@raspberryjamchicken

And public transport, I should have added.
We were never asked for our Covid passes either to board the Eurostar or on public transport 🤷‍♀️
raspberryjamchicken · 28/03/2022 19:26

Sorry, I meant face coverings for public transport Blush

skifrance · 29/03/2022 13:24

We are taking eurostar - so it may not be checked!!

Anyone know about a 17 year old with 2 jabs? Thanks
