Could jr be covid or am I being dramatic?

I had covid in December. Worst symptom was sinus pain, like a bad head cold, blocked nose but without much actual snot, cough, achey legs, fatigue etc.

Fast forward, covid is quite high where I live. The last few days I've had a blocked nose, no sneezing but a bit runny at times. Bit of a headache.. doesn't really feel like a cold - or if it is, it's VV mild!

Would you be concerned that a blocked nose that runs at times (when leaning over) alone would be a symptom of covid? Mouth is really bloody dry too!

I've done an lft which was negative. Don't really want to waste them if it's most likely hayfever, a cold etc.

If I had those symptoms, I’d lateral flow. If negative, I’d assume not covid & carry on with life not thinking about it..

When LFTs become chargeable next week, I’d think oh, wonder if it’s covid & then go about life as how will I ever know 🤷🏼‍♀️

It could be covid, I know someone who definitely had it end of Dec and then again mid March (regular negative tests between so definitely not an old infection).

Probably i got an incredibly blocked nose from 7 days before positive.

I tested positive sat, this time it is much more like a cold. Sneezing, runny nose etc.

When i had it in Nov i was achy, bad head etc but nose wasn't as runny.

I've tested positive today. All I have is a slight runny nose.

Covid day two- lost my smell. I’m actually feeling distraught 😩 it’s crazy how much you miss smells when it’s gone and I’ve read some people never regained it or they smell false horrible smells forever after..
I have done so well working in hospitals yet never caught it for two years… now I have it.
Am I being unreasonable to be scared stuff I won’t be able to smell my lovely perfumes and food again?

YAB- a little -U, yes, Strawberry. Of all the long covid symptoms people are suffering with, I don't think losing smell is one of the worst. Plus it's only day 2. It will return. Take care.
