I am on day 15. I felt well enough on day 11 to return to work. I crashed badly and was sent home. I still feel shocking. I am so exhausted and my body shakes. I can’t feel my limbs properly and walking anywhere is exhausting.
I am a bit scared. The tiredness frightens me. I could sleep all day.
Is there anything that I can do to help myself?
I am finally able to eat meals again after 2 weeks of living off crackers and sweet tea.
My body doesn’t feel like it belongs to me.

Day 13 here! I'm chucking everything at mine as it's really debilitating.

I always took a general multi vitamin anyway but have upped my b6 d, c and b12 and now taking a separate one of those. Also fresh orange juice or the Tropicana multi vitamin boost helps as does short walks in the sun.

I'm going to whisper this very quietly but I'm definitely feeling much better. Not 100% by any means but I'm not falling asleep everytime I sit down like I was.

🤞 You feel better soon x

Day 13 here too symptoms largely gone though odd flash of mild headache but no energy! I used to cycle every morning and just can’t. What do you get your energy back?

Somewhere between week 3 and 4 I felt my pep returning. However started having a Berocca a day and went back to exercising so was bone tired and really slept deeply. I did make sure I avoided calls/meetings/ complex work tasks between 2.30 and 4.30 as that was my slump

So little food will have affected your energy levels so try as much as you can to get high calorie foods in to help bring you back up a bit.

Good question I went back to work on day 14 feeling a lot better and crashed hard on day 17 am now day 21 and exhausted, sore throat, headache and cough are worse again.

Get your vitamin levels back up to help your immune system. Fresh soups, fruit and veg, vitamin d, floradix and lots of sleep.
I was a lot better after 4 weeks and pretty much back to normal after 6.

I’m also day 15, but throughout I’ve been walking dog once a day just to get fresh air and try and keep energy levels up. Also stocked up on vitamins, ginger and honey in tea. Finally got appetite back after having small snacks for 10 days. Still having a sleep in the afternoon and early evening, just presume my body still needs this. My 2 adult sons went back to work last Monday and have been going straight to bed after dinner and sleeping for 2 hours, it’s knocked them completely.
