Still testing positive on Day 11

DH is still testing positive on Day 11. He has no symptoms other than slight nasal ones (although that could be the start of hay fever).
He's very down and despondent. What do we do if he just keeps on coming up positive?

He doesn't have to keep testing though? He's done his isolation and is free to go out and about

I think you just ignore it, stop testing, and go out into the world - unless you are going to be around very vulnerable people?

The government don’t really even want us to test any more…

Thanks, I just found another thread with exactly the same situation, so thanx for not berating me!

He doesn’t need a negative after day ten unless you’re going somewhere that requires proof of a negative to enter (hospital, care home etc.). In fact at this point in time even an early positive relies on individual circumstance and choice.

Is there any particular reason he’s looking for a negative? I’m not very up to date with travel requirements I’ll admit.
