I had a drive through pcr on Wednesday at 12.00 - no result yet are they taking longer atm?
I need the result for work - I’m positive on LFT but have to have PCR to get sick pay.
previous tests I’ve had back within 12 hours are the taking longer in anyones experiance or could the test be lost?

My NHS staff one took almost 24hrs which is pretty slow for them. Dd did a normal one yesterday and no result as yet.

Thanks, it’s still not back. May have to book another one or won’t get paid if can’t provide a result.

Anyone else had a result take 3 days + with an on-site test?

The booking email says to wait six days currently!

Rates are higher than they've ever been.

Oh really mine says 3 days - I’ll leave it another few days then.
Work aren’t happy but I’m too Ill to work anyway.

Not had to test very often tbh but when I have in the past always had the (negative) result the next day.
