DH had a scratchy throat on Monday morning, cold type symptoms started to appear, but he didn't have a positive lateral flow till Wednesday. Now I'm in the same boat, feels like a cold brewing at the back of my throat but negative lateral flow. I work in a Primary School (peripatetic music teacher). What would you do?

You have a negative lft....so unless you are too ill then you go to work

If you can afford to stay off I would, everyone I know who's getting it lately takes a few days to test positive. I think it's why the numbers are going up, by the time you test positive and stay at home you've passed it on.

It took me 4 days to get a positive LFT result, but had same symptoms as 3 other family members who had tested positive.
