Last Tuesday I tested positive for covid. I have been really poorly with flu like symptoms.
On Monday of this week I tested negative the same Tuesday.
This morning I was due to have a GP appointment who have asked me to do a lift.
This is positive. I have re arranged my appointment.
I am waiting for a phone call from the GP to check if this is normal.
Has this happened to anyone else?

If you were out of the ten full day isolation period then they'd probably say you are fine but because you are still within the ten days they will probably want you to rearrange.
It can happen, must depend on the strength of the swab sample.

Ha I’ve just posted a thread with pretty much the exact same question. Same thing happened to me this morning. Sucks

You are on day 9 and still getting a positive on a lft, quite normal

GD12 · 24/03/2022 14:04

Was the original isolation period not 10 days? I thought after 10days you weren't infectious?

The "instructions" say that once you've had 2 days of negative LFT (if testing to escape from day 7 onwards) then not to test again for 28 days from your first positive test.
