Sick notes

Hello all,

I have been off work all week with COVID. I feel awful. I doubt I can go to work next week. Of course, if I am well enough I will of course work. But if I can't work, I will need a sick/fit note. What I don't want to do is go back when I'm feeling slightly better and then set myself back (I have done this before).

I realise that legislation is changing so does anyone know if I still get a fit note through the NHS website or I need a GP telephone consult?

Thank you

I'm literally off atm with covid. I'd had a lot of contact with the GP since symptoms started and I just followed the online button for fit notes on the surgery website. Was very simple.
The only pain was it wasn't then sent to me electronically and had to be collected in person.

Thank you! I have just done that. Hopefully by DH can collect it. I just feel utterly awful. Much appreciated your help.

Hope you get well soon.
