Suffering after 3 weeks

Is anyone else still suffering with Covid symptoms after day 21? I'm exhausted, I'm still having headaches, am in a mental fog and have no taste or smell. I was really poorly in the first week and tested positive for 15 days. Not sure if this has any relevance to why I'm still feeling so rubbish?

Went back to work today and barely coped. I'm feeling really low mentally too.

Anyone else? I'm worried I'll never be well again.

I’m the same at day 21, minus the smell and taste. Back to work for me tomorrow too & worried about it: I may try to do a half day

My brother in law is the same, my sister has had 5 weeks off work: I think it just does take a long time to shake

Is there any chance of can take more time off?

Both my 2 adult DS’s went back to work yesterday after being quite ill with covid, after 10 days isolation. They both went straight to bed for a couple of hours sleep when they got home. They are aged 26 and 29. Both myself and DH are trying our best to get back to normal. A one hour walk yesterday morning and we came back and slept for 2 hours straight. DH still has heavy head and eyes and I’m still coughing, but hopefully we will start improving energy wise soon.

I'm close on 6 weeks. The exhaustion is gradually improving, but if I have a busy day I really suffer the next. Still coughing, still get periods of breathlessness, brain fog still around and occasional bouts of joint pain. I was in bed for a week, but not really ill. Fully vaxed, early 50s.

Yes here too. What are your headaches like?

gettingalife · 22/03/2022 13:04

Sad to hear you're all still suffering but reassuring at the same time. Headaches are there from around midday onwards. Then paracetamol take the edge off but don't get rid of them completely.

If I take more time off the work just stacks up and I will struggle to cope when I return. Am trying to get through with the thought that I have a two week Easter break coming up two weeks on Friday.
