What are you all doing in isolation?

Hi everyone,

I had a sore throat on Saturday, but a negative test. Tested positive yesterday morning with what feels like a head cold. Felt pretty bad last night and this morning but feeling ok now. Just like a cold.
I’m staying in my room trying to avoid my son and husband who are currently negative. I miss being at work and being productive. What are you all doing to pass the time? I’ve already practically finished one book and have watched 2 series on Netflix. Tomorrow I’m going to do a bit of work. I know I’m very lucky to have it so mildly and to be isolating for the first time in 2 years!

Absolutely nothing apart from feeling 💩 and like dying 🤣. Sorry not a great example but I've not done alot apart from bit of TV, reading, sitting in garden etc. Not isolated from family as ds had it with me and now DH had it so not much point

Sorry you’re feeling rubbish Frosty100. I’m finding isolating from family hard and it seems a bit pointless since I was with them up until 8am yesterday morning…

Lots of reading, bit of TV but today was the first day i didn't have DS also isolating and couldn't have the tv on while he was home schooling.
Now the brain fog lifting I may attempt to work tomorrow ( I can wfh) after being unable to all last week.

I also tested positive yesterday. I worked from home today- although I did have a nap after lunch. Throat is sore and feeling coldy but not terrible. Now I'm lying in bed watching trashy telly! I am isolating from the rest of the household as they're all negative still. Quite like it! My meals are being delivered on trays 😂😂😂

I have a baby and a husband with 'the worst covid that no one else has had'.... as it stands our baby gave us covid - she tested positive last week and we tested positive at the weekend. She's still a bit poorly from it but doing better.

Woke up with a temperature, sore throat, cough and runny nose.

So far I've cleaned the kitchen, prepared 3 meals, walked around the garden pushing a pram endlessly, picked up dog poo, cleaned the fridge out, hoovered and sorted the recycling.

DH had to lay down because 'sneezing hurts' - bless his poor pathetic arse. He's whimpering on the sofa currently after his 3 hour nap.

Pretty much nothing has changed for me! Looking forward to a cup of tea and some trash TV if I can get my LO to sleep (I've had 4 nights of being woken up every 45 minutes). DH doesn't hear the baby in the night Hmm

I'm giving him a hard time, he's a good bloke usually. But when it comes to having a bit of a grit - he can be somewhat lacking Grin
